Casual workers in Migori County have threatened to down their tools over a six months salary delay.

The workers, who held a demonstration on Tuesday said they will not report to their respective working places as from today.

They accused their employer (the County government) of failing to attend to their demands, as their supervisor took of once they walked to their office.

They claimed that the county government had promised to disburse the salaries last week Friday, but their accounts are still dry.
