Police have arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly stabbing his 21-year-old cousin to death in Migori County.

According to Area Assistant Chief William Jabed, the fatal altercation occurred after a quarrel between the cousins.

Witnesses reported that the suspect, Fred Ngere, then went home to retrieve a kitchen knife before attacking Charles Otieno, leading to his arrest.

Otieno was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The body has been transferred to Migori Level Four Hospital for an autopsy.
