Kenyan YouTuber Miss Trudy could barely contain her excitement after internet sensation MrBeast paid a visit to her Ghanaian restaurant, LaMu, during his ongoing trip to the country.
Miss Trudy, who is married to a Ghanaian content creator and is based in Ghana, shared the news on Instagram on Sunday, 20 September, writing:
“Blessed and grateful to host @mrbeast in our restaurant @lamurerestaurant in Ghana. His humility and kindness made the day unforgettable.”

Why did Miss Trudy host MrBeast?
MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, is in Ghana to unveil Abna Dakwa Village, a $10 million self-sustaining community project funded through his charitable arm, Beast Philanthropy.
The development, located in Ghana’s Eastern Region, was built over eight months on what was previously an empty field and is designed to house and rehabilitate hundreds of children removed from illegal child labour on cocoa farms and in the fishing industry.
The village includes a school that can take in more than 300 students, ten free homes for relocated teachers, a medical clinic and surgical facility, water towers, off-grid solar systems, a marketplace and a working fish farm. In partnership with the Rockefeller Foundation, every student at the school is set to receive free daily meals for five years.
Ghanaian traditional leaders reportedly honoured MrBeast with the title “Chief of Development” in recognition of his contribution.
The project also ties into his chocolate brand, Feastables, which has previously drawn attention to child labour concerns within the global cocoa industry.
MrBeast brought around 20 international content creators to Ghana to help document the initiative, with Ghanaian YouTuber Wode Maya, Miss Trudy’s husband, playing a key role in coordinating the visit.
