Mjaka Mfine Looking for Boda Rider Who Carried Her, Claims She’s in Love

In the reel filmed in what appears to be a bedroom or hallway near a curtained doorway, Mjaka addresses the camera directly with the kind of energy usually reserved for someone recounting the plot of a telenovela.

What did Mjaka Mfine say about boda rider?

“Hi guys, I’m here looking for someone,” she begins, before launching into her story.

According to Mjaka, she hopped on a boda boda heading to town when she noticed the rider was kitted out in full protective gear and a helmet, styled much like the well-known Kenyan biker personality Brayo.

The gear made it completely impossible to make out anything about the man’s face.

Then came the bump. When the motorcycle hit a pothole, she slid and instinctively grabbed the rider around the waist.

A moment of silence followed. He turned. She looked. They arrived at her destination, and she still never managed to see his face.

“I keep remembering that and smiling,” she said. “I cannot live without you.”

The clip spread rapidly, partly because of Mjaka’s animated delivery and partly because the whole scenario felt like something lifted straight from a film script.
