Women took a center stage on the first day of the People’s Dialogue Festival at the National Museums of Kenya.
The aim of the festival was to bring together Kenyans from all walks of life to dialogue on leadership and growing the democratic space.
It was also to address pressing issues such as the tax burden and debt and the current political duels and who they serve.
Speaker of the national assembly Moses Wetangula who was the chief guest did not fail to celebrate his mother.
He hailed his mum as resilient for raising 14 children.
The National Assembly’s speaker then acknowledged the place that women play in the social, economic, and political spaces as the world celebrates International Women’s Da
