Super Eagles defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel, has described his new manager at Fenerbahce, Jose Mourinho, as “scary”.

However, he admits that working with Mourinho has helped improve his self-confidence.

Osayi-Samuel signed for the Turkish club in 2021 and has made 140 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing 13 assists.

Before this season, he worked with seven coaches at Fenerbahce, including Emre Belözoğlu, Erol Bulut, Vítor Pereira, İsmail Kartal, Zeki Murat Göle, João de Deus, and Jorge Jesus.

However, the club brought in Mourinho this summer, as they attempt to topple Galatasaray.

“Mourinho is scary but also very nice. It is a great honor to work with him,” Osayi-Samuel said, per Fanatik.

“I want to learn the history of the players. He instills self-confidence in the player.

“I think I will learn a lot while working with him this year.”
