Award-winning gospel singer Mr. Seed has recounted the lowest moments of his life and how he was homeless for almost two years.

Mr Seed who was speaking on TV 47, says that at some point in life, he slept in the church because he did not have a home.

“We would sleep on a church bench. There was a time I would exchange families and in one year I lived with almost six families,”

The singer also revealed that during that period his mum had health issues and life was just struggles adding that “For two years I was struggling in Nairobi alone since my mum was sick. I would find a phone and I used to call my mum.”

The singer went ahead and said that his highest moment in life was when he moved his mum to a bigger house and when he bought a piece of land for his mum saying that ” It was such a big deal since we have never had such. I still can’t believe I did that for myself and my mum was really proud of me just from her expressions.”

Adding that during that period Khaligraph Jones called him just to congratulate him for gifting his mum with the piece of land.

During the conversation, Ofweneke asked him about his relationship with Bahati and he replied saying that they are on good terms but their relationship is not how it used to be “Siwezi sema ni kama kitambo but we talk.” He added.

He also noted that he ranks Otile Brown music-wise and would love to do a collabo with him and he just admires how Brown keeps his personal life out of social media just by living a private life.

The father of three added that from 17th March he will start his campus tour across the country and might even launch the Mr. Seed festival.
