Gospel singer Mr Seed has shared a touching birthday message to his son, Gold Christen Omondi, as the young boy celebrated his 7th birthday.
In a Facebook post shared on Thursday, March 5, 2026, the singer, whose real name is Moses Tarus Omondi, celebrated the milestone with a heartfelt message expressing love and gratitude for his son.
He described turning seven as a significant moment, noting that the number represents God’s perfect number and a sign of blessings.
“Happy birthday, my G. Now you are turning 7, and that means God’s perfect number. It means you are blessed, and this is a very big milestone,” Mr Seed said while tapping Gold on the chest.
He congratulated Gold on reaching the new age and described it as a big milestone for the young boy.
The gospel musician also thanked his son for being a good child and a blessing to their family, expressing how proud he is of him.
“You turning 7 is something very special. I love you so much, and thank you for being a good boy,” Mr Seed added.
He further encouraged the boy to enjoy his special day, celebrate, have fun and remain positive, ending the message by reminding him that his father loves him deeply.
“Thank you for being a blessing to this family. I love you. Happy birthday. Today is your day, enjoy, celebrate, have fun, and stay positive. Daddy loves you. Happy birthday to you,” Mr Seed further said.
Gold Christen Omondi was born on March 5, 2019, at Nairobi Hospital to Mr Seed and his wife, Nimo Gachuiri.
The couple often shares moments of their family life with fans online and frequently posts about their son on social media.
Gold, who is sometimes affectionately referred to by his parents as “King Gold” or “Mr Seed Jnr”, has grown up in the public eye as his parents continue to build their careers while sharing snippets of their parenting journey.
Road accident
The heartfelt development comes just weeks after Mr Seed spoke publicly for the first time about the terrifying road accident he was involved in on New Year’s Day, revealing how close he and his loved ones came to losing their lives.
In a video message shared on TikTok on Saturday, January 3, 2026, the ‘Kumbe Kumbe’ hitmaker thanked well-wishers who had reached out to check on him and his family, assuring them that everyone involved in the crash was safe.
“Hi, guys. I just want to say thank you to everybody who has been reaching out to find out if we are okay. I want you to know that we are okay; we are alive,” Mr Seed said.
Recounting the incident, the singer explained that the accident occurred on January 1 at around 10:30 pm in Siaya as he was driving to Siaya town for a club appearance.
He said he was accompanied by his wife, Nimo, as well as two friends who were seated in the back of the car.
According to Mr Seed, their vehicle was hit by another car whose occupants were speeding in a poorly lit section of the road.
“We were driving towards Siaya town, and these guys were coming from Siaya town in the direction we had come from. That section of the road was very dark, and they were speeding badly. They nearly hit us head-on,” he narrated.
