Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi arrived in Zimbabwe on Sunday, ahead of the inauguration of President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Mudavadi will be representing President William Ruto in the ceremony that will take place in Harare on Monday, September 4, 2023.

Other Head of States from Africa are set to attend the ceremony that will see Mnangagwa assume his second term as the president of Zimbabwe.

He was declared the President-elect after winning 52.6% of the vote, beating his main competitor Nelson Chamisa of the Citizens’ Coalition for Change (CCC), who got 44% of the vote.
