MultiChoice Kenya, a leading video entertainment company, has announced the launch of its rebranded DStv App, now known as DStv Stream.

The upgraded streaming platform offers subscribers a personalized and user-friendly experience, with a wide range of content and the ability to switch soundtracks to local languages, including live sports commentary.

Mr. Ronald Baraka, the Head of Marketing at MultiChoice Kenya, expressed the company’s commitment to enhancing the viewing experience for its customers. He stated, “DStv Stream brings the ultimate streaming experience right to your fingertips. This all-inclusive entertainment platform continues to bring the best in local, international, sports, and kid’s content from wherever the viewer is.”

The soaring popularity of video streaming services in Kenya, driven by the rapid increase in mobile phone and tablet usage and reliable internet access, played a significant role in the development of DStv Stream. Mr. Baraka emphasized the company’s dedication to responding to ever-changing consumer needs and preferences, placing convenience at the forefront of their innovations.

“From the initial launch of the first decoder to pioneering digital satellite TV and now with DStv Stream, what drives innovation for us is providing our customers with the content they love, in the way that’s best for them,” added Mr. Baraka.

With the upcoming New Football Season, MultiChoice’s dedicated teams have worked tirelessly to deliver a revamped and smoother streaming experience, packed with innovative features. DStv Stream promises to offer viewers a front-row experience of every game, allowing them to catch all the goals, drama, triumphs, and defeats from the world’s most loved football leagues.

“No matter where you are, you can catch all the goals, drama, triumphs, and defeats from the world’s most loved football leagues. What’s more, the DStv Stream app ensures you never miss a moment – replay those stunning goals, those incredible saves, or watch full matches at your leisure.

The New Football Season has never been this personal, accessible, or thrilling,” said Mr. Baraka.

To access the newly renovated entertainment platform, existing subscribers who’ve already been streaming simply need to update their existing DStv app. For existing subscribers who have not yet been streaming, the new app is available for download from their favorite app store, where they can log in using their existing credentials for self-service.

DStv Stream promises to usher in a new era of personalized entertainment for subscribers across Kenya, with an extensive library of content tailored to individual preferences. The app’s seamless user experience and the ability to switch to local languages during live sports events are likely to strike a chord with consumers seeking convenience and variety in their viewing choices.
