Kenyan actress Tina has narrated an emotional ordeal after she found herself unable to leave her house because the door had been locked from outside.
According to Tina, her house manager had packed her belongings, left the house and carried the keys with her, leaving the actress stranded inside.
Actress Needed to Report to Work
The young mother shared the incident in an emotional TikTok video as she struggled to hold back tears.
“She just waited for me to pay her, then ran away. I wish she just told me she wanted to leave,” she lamented.
The development left Tina desperate, as she said she needed to leave the house and report to work.
She explained that one of the options was to break the door, but she also needed to find a replacement househelp urgently.
Landlord Demanded KSh 20k
The situation became even more complicated after Tina contacted her landlord seeking assistance with the door.
According to the actress, the landlord told her she would need to pay approximately KSh 20,000 to have the door replaced.
Tina said she did not have the money, leaving her wondering how she would get out of the house and attend to her responsibilities.
While Tina was still contemplating what to do, she heard someone opening the door. To her surprise, it was the same househelp returning with the bags she had packed earlier.

Househelp’s Explanation
The househelp reportedly apologised for leaving without informing Tina and explained what had happened.
She revealed that someone had offered to marry her, prompting her to leave and head to their agreed meeting point.
However, when she arrived at the meeting point, the man’s phone was unreachable, forcing her to rethink her decision.
The unexpected turn of events meant the househelp eventually returned to Tina’s home with her belongings.
