Nairobi City has been ranked as the best city in the world to visit in 2024 by Lonely Planet.
The statistics drawn from a panel of over 200 travel experts within the Lonely Planet family, a travel guidebook publisher, show that Nairobi is leading worldwide, followed by Paris in France.
Montreal, Canada, was ranked third, whereas Mostar and Herzegovina in Bosnia were ranked fourth.
Philadelphia, USA; Manaus, Brazil; Jakarta, India; and Prague, Czech Republic, were ranked fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth, respectively.

Similarly, Izmir in Turkey and Kansas City in Missouri were named ninth and tenth best cities respectively.
According to the report released on Saturday, December 9, 2023, Mongolia was ranked as the best country to visit in 2024. India and Morocco came in second and third respectively.
Chile, Benin and Mexico were ranked as fourth, fifth and sixth best countries to visit respectively whereas Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Croatia and Saint Lucia were named as seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth best countries to visit.
