One adult and an infant lost their lives when a bus traveling to Tororo, Uganda, for a burial collided with another vehicle headed in the same direction after its brakes failed.

The bus swerved off the road in the Kayole area along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway in the early hours of Wednesday morning, resulting in several injuries.

At the time of the accident, the bus, labeled “Blessed,” was carrying 63 passengers. The wreckage of the vehicles has since been towed away. More updates will follow.
