Detectives in Nakuru are investigating the death of a 22-year-old college student who reportedly died from injuries after being thrown out of a moving car.

According to reports, Eileen Cherotich, a business student at the Rift Valley Institute of Science Technology, died while returning home from a night out in Nakuru town.

She is said to have had a disagreement with her boyfriend on the way home, which led to the shocking incident.

Three suspects and a vehicle believed to have been used in the incident have been detained at the Nakuru West police station.

On Sunday, college students blocked the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway to demand justice for the slain comrade.

Meanwhile, the deceased’s body was moved to the Nakuru County Referral Hospital Mortuary for a post-mortem as investigations unfold.
