The late Njambi Koikai’s family has expressed gratitude to Kenyans for the support they offered them during the mourning period.
Njambi died on June 3 and was buried on June 14.

“We would like to express our deepest gratitude for your tremendous support during Njambi’s send-off,” in a post made on Instagram.
The family went on to remember Njambi saying they would live to cherish the moments they created together.

“Njambi, it has been one month since you left us, and we miss you so much every single day. Your memory lives on through the stories we share, the places you cherished, your love for reggae music, and all in all the moments of our daily lives. we love you deeply always,” the post read.

Njambi was an endometriosis warrior which she fought till her last breath.
Endometriosis is a gynaecological condition associated with menstruation where tissue similar to the lining of the womb develops in other areas of the body, including the fallopian tubes, pelvis, bowel, vagina and intestines.

Koikai battled the disease for decades and underwent several surgeries to manage it.
The condition saw her walk in and out of hospitals numerous times both locally and internationally.
