Police officers in Manga Sub-County, Nyamira County are investigating the death of a middle-aged man who allegedly threw himself into a well in Nyagware-Omogonchoro village, on Sunday, November 13.

Clinton Kabiero, is said to have left his motorcycle before jumping into the well, following a reported domestic dispute with his wife.

According to a police report, Kabiero had threatened to take his own life, prompting his mother to attempt to calm him down.

Efforts to retrieve Kabiero’s body from the well took over five hours, involving collaboration between the police and emergency services personnel from Nyamira County, as well as local residents.
