Shadrack Nduto Mwendo, a local resident, captured the sentiments of many as he expressed gratitude, “On behalf of the residents, I am grateful for the good deeds you have come today to do for our community. This water project will promote education to greater heights in Kako School and the community at large.”

Dedan Mungai, expressed his gratitude by stating , “We thank you for the warm welcome you have given us here. We are glad to offer help, and this is not the end. We shall continue supporting communities.”

Additionally, Odi Mtaani contributed sanitary towels and foodstuffs, underscoring their commitment to holistic community development.

BCLB Chairperson, Rev (DR) Jane Mwikali Makau, lauded Odi Mtaani Foundation’s noble gesture, stating, “I would like to appreciate the Odi Mtaani Foundation for sinking a borehole for our schools and community at large. This is a gesture that should be embraced by other betting firms.”

She further instructed the school to form a management committee to ensure the effective operation and longevity of the borehole, emphasizing sustainable community impact.

The event ended in a symbolic tree planting ceremony, led by the chief guest and other dignitaries, symbolising the growth, resilience, and enduring impact of collaborative efforts in uplifting communities.
