Ohangla musician Odongo Swagg has given fans a glimpse inside his brand-new home in Siaya county, marking the occasion with a colourful housewarming celebration that drew friends, politicians and fans from across East Africa.
Drone footage shared on Monday, October 12, captured sweeping aerial views of the modern single-storey bungalow, which features a dark grey tiled roof, light-coloured exterior walls and a concrete perimeter wall enclosing the compound.

The front of the house was adorned with a striking balloon arch in gold, white and black, while the architecture showcased grey walls with white trim, columns, arched openings and black metal security bars on the windows.
Large white peaked tents were erected in the compound to accommodate the sizeable crowd, with several cars and SUVs lined along the access road.
In the background, the broad blue expanse of Lake Victoria stretched out beneath a partly cloudy sky, lending the property a scenic quality that set it apart.
The musician shared a heartfelt message alongside the footage, describing the day as one of the most meaningful of his life.
“Some moments in life are too beautiful for words, and the housewarming was one of them. As I look back, my heart overflows with gratitude, because what I witnessed was more than a celebration; it was love, unity, friendship, and the beauty of people coming together to celebrate another person’s journey,” he wrote.
Odongo Swagg gave special recognition to chief guests, including politicians, clergy and artistes who made time to attend.
He described their presence as a reminder that the greatest wealth lies not in property but in the people who stand beside you.
“You made my house feel like a home, and my celebration feel like a family reunion. May God remember every one of you for the love you showed me,” he added.
The post drew warm reactions from followers who praised the musician for investing back in his home area.
