Sharon Otieno’s murder case, in which former Migori Governor Okoth Obado, Micheal Oyamo, and Caspal Obiero are charged, will be heard this year from July 17 to July 21.

The other hearing dates for this year are July 24–28.

Justice Cecelia Githua, who was transferred to Muranga station, will continue hearing the murder case against the three.

The judge urged the parties to cooperate with the court in order to resolve the case during the case mention on Wednesday.

“….It looks like I’m not lucky… I’m back on it, I thought I will escape this matter after my transfer…”

“But it’s okay; we will continue from where we left,” Justice Githua said

The prosecution informed the court that 18 witnesses have yet to testify in the case, which has seen 24 witnesses take the stand so far.

Three people have been charged in the case with the murder of Sharon Otieno and her unborn child.
