It was Olivia Dean’s night at the Brit Awards; she took home four trophies, including artist of the year and song of the year.
Dean, once a Brit school pupil herself, also performed her song “Man I Need” during Saturday’s show. She also won the best new artist at this year’s Grammys.
The U.K.’s leading music awards show moved from London to Manchester in the North of England, and was opened by Harry Styles, making his TV debut with new song “Aperture” from his new album “Kiss all the Time, Disco Occasionally,” which will be released next week.
International awards were dominated by Rosalía, who won Best International Artist, while ROSÉ and Bruno Mars took home International Song of the Year. Geese were recognised as International Group of the Year, underscoring the global reach of the awards.
The night also featured heartfelt tributes. Robbie Williams led a homage to the late Ozzy Osbourne, joined by members of Black Sabbath for a stirring performance of “No More Tears”. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented posthumously to Osbourne, celebrating his enduring legacy.

Emerging talent was spotlighted as well. Jacob Alon received the Critics’ Choice Award, following in the footsteps of past winners like Adele and Sam Fender.
Lola Young was named Breakthrough Artist, while Sam Fender won Best Alternative/Rock Act. Other genre winners included SAULT for Best R&B Act, Dave for Best Hip Hop/Grime/Rap, and Fred again.., Skepta, and PlaqueBoyMax for Best Dance Act.
Off-stage, honours went to PinkPantheress as Producer of the Year and Noel Gallagher as Songwriter of the Year. Mark Ronson received the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award, marking decades of influence on the U.K. and global music scene.
Other memorable performances included Raye, SOMBRE, Wolf Alice, and Björk, rounding out a night that celebrated creativity, talent, and the diversity of modern music.
