Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) FC continued with their winning streak as the Homabay side beat Naivasha-based Sunderland Keroche 1-0 at their Oyugis base in a mouth-watering Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Division One Zone B league match today.

The victors claimed all points courtesy of an 84th-minute goal by Basil Opiyo. The visitors had held on to a draw before Opiyo broke loose to break the deadlock and send MOFA clean sheet victory just minutes to the final whistle.

Center referee Daniel Onyango had an easy work only issuing one yellow card to Keroche’s Kosike Isaac in the 32nd minute for a reckless tackle.

In other matches played today, Kamugei Fsettled to a 2-2 draw against St. Joseph’s youth at the Kamugei secondary school grounds. Kamugei drew first blood off the saints as Evans Rono broke the deadlock in the 48th minute.

Aaron Siele saw the back of the net in the 51st minute to put the home side up front but a Said Adam penalty in the 61st minute helped St Joseph pull one back before Albert Momanyi levelled matters in the 89th minute.
