Three police officers were on Monday shot by armed gangs during a patrol at Free Area, Nakuru town.
One officer from Bondeni police station died while the other two were injured during the 1.29 am attack by the unknown gang.
The two are receiving treatment at the Nakuru Level Five Hospital.
Nakuru County Commissioner Loyford Kibaara told Citizen Digital that some suspects were arrested by Monday morning, and an AK-47 was recovered.
