MP Oscar Sudi was part of a stylish group of friends who pulled off a surprise birthday celebration for Sam Mburu, the husband of Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika, at the luxurious Cavo Tagoo hotel abroad.
Photos from the occasion show a cheerful, well-dressed crew in coordinated white outfits marking the milestone in serious style.
What happened at Sam Mburu’s birthday?
The group looked every bit the part for a high-end getaway.
Most of the party turned up in white, with the women in flowing dresses and wide-brimmed sun hats, while the men opted for white shirts, shorts, trousers and fedoras.
One standout moment captured the group strolling along a sunlit paved walkway lined with palm trees, hills stretching out in the background, the mood firmly set to casual luxury.
Sudi and Sam posed together in front of a vivid drip-painted abstract mural featuring a large red heart, both in matching white outfits and white hats.
A separate portrait showed Sam and Kihika in a similar setting, the couple beaming at the camera in front of the same colourful backdrop.
The celebrations moved indoors for a more intimate moment.
A white frosted cake bearing the inscription “Happy Birthday Sam” sat on a gold board, accompanied by Cavo Tagoo hotel stationery, a “Please Do Not Disturb” card and room-service dishes, suggesting the cake cutting took place in a private suite.
In another light-hearted moment, Mburu was seen feeding Sudi a forkful of birthday cake.
Taking to social media after the celebrations, Sudi shared the photos alongside a warm message for the birthday celebrant.
“Happy birthday to my generation-mate and brother, Sam Mburu. Wishing you success and delightful surprises in this milestone year. Heri njema ya kuzaliwa!” Sudi wrote.
