Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has presented a car to a local pastor in Uasin Gishu County, citing a desire to support the spread of the Gospel and recognise dedicated church leadership.

The vehicle went to Pastor Dennis Too of AIC Plateau church in Kesses Constituency.

Sudi announced the gift on his Facebook page on Saturday, September 12, 2026, framing it as a personal contribution to Christian ministry rather than a political gesture.

In his post, the legislator described the donation as a way of honouring long-standing service to the church.

Oscar Sudi’s message to pastor Too

“This is to honour his faithful service and dedication to spreading the Word of God,” Sudi wrote, adding that he hoped the car would help the pastor “reach more souls and take the Gospel far and wide.”

He closed his message with a blessing directed at the clergyman: “God bless your ministry, Pastor.”

The MP’s decision to gift a vehicle to a pastor in his constituency drew attention, given the practical difference reliable transport makes for rural clergy, who often serve congregations spread across wide distances.

Uasin Gishu county is in which province? For a pastor operating in Kesses, a largely agricultural area within Uasin Gishu County, access to a car can mean the difference between reaching outlying communities or not.

Sudi, who represents Kapseret Constituency in Uasin Gishu and is a prominent figure in Rift Valley politics, has previously been vocal about his Christian faith.

The donation to Pastor Too fits into a pattern of direct, personal support for community figures that the MP has demonstrated over the years.
