Nigeria has excluded injured striker Victor Osimhen from their squad for two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya. The Galatasaray forward, who has been dealing with an injury, will miss the matches, along with South Africa-based defender Olisa Ndah, who is also injured. Caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen announced the squad ahead of the Super Eagles’ first match against Libya, scheduled for Friday, October 11, in southern Nigeria, followed by a second match four days later in North Africa.

Currently, Nigeria leads Group D with four points from two matches, while Libya sits at the bottom of the group with one point.
