A parent of a form three student at Nyasoko secondary school in Suna West, Migori County is seeking justice after his son was allegedly assaulted by one of the teachers and sustained injuries.

The learner is said to have been beaten over photos he took together with some of the fellow students during a sporting activity last week Saturday.

The student’s father Julius Abich said his son suffered serious injuries and he is now hospitalized at Pastor Machage hospital in Migori town.

Abich claims that blood has been oozing from his son’s nose since yesterday after the beating.

The parent claims that he went to the school after the teacher who assaulted his son informed him that the student had been sent home to seek treatment. He says the teachers did not give him an audience.

Abich said he reported the matter to Piny Oyie police station before he rushed the son to hospital where he is still receiving treatment.

The parent said he needs justice for his son and therefore urged the relevant bodies of the government to take necessary legal action.
