Barely days after opening a church in Kisii embattled preacher Ezekiel Odero will hold a massive crusade at the Jacaranda Grounds in Nairobi over the weekend.
Odero is under investigations for among other offences radicalisation and money laundering but he is yet to be charged as police are still conducting investigations into the alleged crimes.
Last month the state canceled crusades that had been organised by the preacher in Machakos and Nairobi.
Odero who seems unbowed with the investigations was last weekend in Kisii to open a church on a 13-acre land in Mosocho, Kisii.
In a poster doing rounds on social media sites, Odero in conjunction with Bishop Pius Muiru will hold the crusade on both Saturday and Sunday.
Two weeks ago, Odero’s TV station World Evangelism TV was opened after was shut down in April after the state heightened investigations into the Shakahola deaths over cult preachings.
Odero is still required to present himself at the police station before the investigation officer once every month after the court varied the earlier orders which ordered him to appear weekly.
