A 35-year-old Kenyan woman, Monica Wandune Ndungu, who strangled her three children to d3ath and took her own life, has been laid to rest.

A requiem mass was held for the family before the burial on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in Githogoro.

Monica committed the heinous act over alleged domestic wrangles.

On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, her husband, Junior Wa Githogoro, came back home in the wee hours of the morning after spending the night at an entertainment joint and stumbled on the lifeless bodies.

Monica had left a suicide note blaming her husband for leading her to depression.

The couple had been married for more than 10 years.
