Police in Ngewa, Kiambu County are looking for a man who allegedly stabbed his estranged wife to death during a quarrel.

The suspect, who police only identified as HK, on Sunday evening stabbed the woman identified as Ms Phylis Ngina Gachohi to death.

According to the police, the suspect stormed a construction site where Ms Ngina was working, dragged her to a nearby coffee farm and ended her life.

“Before he committed the heinous act, he removed a makeshift ladder to the upper floors of the building with the aim of barring other masons from reaching where he had picked a quarrel with the woman,” the police said.
