Police officers have dispersed Members of Parliament from the Azimio la Umoja Coalition, who pitched camp at the entrance of President William Ruto’s office at Harambee House.

The delegation included Stewart Madzayo (Kilifi Senator) Enoch Wambua (Kitui Senator), Robert Mbui (Kathiani MP), Rosa Buyu (Kisumu Woman Rep), Edwin Sifuna (Nairobi Senator), TJ Kajwang (Ruaraka MP) others.

The legislators marched to Ruto’s office with letters at hand.

Addressing security officers at the gate of Harambee House, Senator Sifuna said they will be marching to other government offices today to deliver their petitions.

“We just want to give this letter to the right person. Tell them to come and take it.

Shortly, police lobbed teargas to disperse the legislators.

The march comes at the day of planned anti-government protests called by Azimio leader Raila Odinga.
