A police constable has been arrested in Homa Bay County for cutting his boss with a panga after they allegedly disagreed over a suspect who was arrested and detained.

The police officer attached to Pala Police Post in Ndhiwa Sub-County is accused of assaulting his boss identified as Koech Kimutai.

Kimutai, who is the head Pala Police Post was assaulted by his junior after they allegedly disagreed over a suspect who had been arrested.

It is reported that Kimutai realised a suspect who had been arrested and detained in their cell was missing.

He went to the constable’s house to enquire the whereabouts of the suspect but failed to get a convincing answer.
