Police in Makueni are searching for a man suspected of defiling his nine-year-old daughter. According to an assistant chief, the victim received medical treatment following the alleged incident.

Authorities have reported the case and initiated investigations, as well as a manhunt for the suspect, who reportedly fled the scene immediately after the incident.

“The father comes home once in a while. We aren’t able to apprehend him. But, he is being sought after by the officers,” the assistant chief said.

“On the fateful day, he came and took the girl and her brothers from their grandmother’s house before committing the act. The minor and her grandmother have already recorded their statements and investigations are underway.”
