Police officers in Ekerenyo station, Nyamira County are searching for a 25-year-old man who allegedly killed his two-and-a-half-year-old son in Eronge village.

According to a police report, Ezekiel Kimwomi had separated from his wife about one month ago following a domestic dispute. The wife went back to her family home.

Two days ago, the man went to the home (wife’s) and took away the toddler. He would later kill him on Tuesday, leaving his naked body on the bed.

It took the curiosity of neighbours, who broke the house door and found the lifeless body of the minor.

Police are now in search of the man, as the toddler’s body was moved to the morgue.
