Posta Kenya Corporation (PKC) announced an increase in MPost charges for virtual address numbers on Thursday. The new pricing represents a 2,200 percent increase for corporate customers and a 400 percent increase for individual box holders.

Post Master General John Tonui stated that the new charges will apply to both corporate and individual boxes, which will now cost Sh9,450 and Sh2,000 respectively, up from the previous Sh400 per year. The revised charges took effect on July 5, 2024.

“PCK wishes to inform our esteemed customers and the general public that the rates for Mpost Virtual Boxes/Addresses for both Corporate and Individual have been adjusted with effect from 5th July 2024,” Tonui said.

Tonui reaffirmed Posta Kenya Corporation’s commitment to providing innovative solutions to customers, stating, “As a Corporation, we are committed to delivering Innovative Communication, Logistical and Financial solutions to our customers at all times.”

Mpost is a service that converts mobile numbers into virtual post office addresses, used for the delivery of mail and parcels for individuals and businesses.
