President William Ruto has introduced a strategy aimed at addressing economic growth obstacles linked to urban land use and transport planning within the Nairobi metropolitan area.

Dubbed the Kenya Urban Mobility and Growth Threshold Programme, the initiative targets over 4.3 million individuals for its benefits.

“This programme is geared towards delivering tangible outcomes and fostering enhanced opportunities for Kenyans,” stated President Ruto during the launch.

The event, held in Washington, D.C., saw the presence of Millennium Challenge Corporation CEO Alice Albright. President Ruto emphasized that this marks a significant milestone in the burgeoning partnership between Kenya and the United States.

“This is an exciting milestone in the growing partnership between Kenya and the United States,” explained President Ruto.
