Diaspora Affairs Principal Secretary Roseline Njogu met with a group of diaspora business owners at the African Development Centre (ADC) in Minnesota on Thursday.

The ADC is instrumental in aiding African immigrants and refugees in achieving financial stability. According to Njogu, the ADC supports the prosperity of African immigrants and refugees by helping them overcome financial barriers and providing crucial information for starting small business enterprises.

During the meeting, the diaspora business community recognized Kenya’s strong position in trade, hospitality, sports, and its role as a gateway to Africa. They advocated for increased collaboration with business owners and entrepreneurs.

Njogu encouraged the diaspora business owners to seize the various investment opportunities available in Kenya and emphasized their significant contribution to the country’s development.

Njogu also highlighted the importance of unity among the Kenyan diaspora community. The meeting underscored a commitment to fostering closer engagement and collaboration between the Kenyan government and its diaspora business community.
