Queen Camilla continued with her royal engagements on Thursday, January 19, just hours after the arrest of her brother-in-law, Prince Andrew.

The Queen was photographed leaving Sinfonia Smith Square Hall in London, where she serves as a patron. During the visit, she met with musicians and attended a concert as part of her scheduled royal duties. According to reports, Camilla was asked about Andrew’s arrest but declined to comment.

Andrew was arrested earlier in the day by Thames Valley Police officers on suspicion of misconduct in public office at his home. The arrest took place on his 66th birthday and follows calls from an anti-royal campaign group urging authorities to investigate whether he shared confidential British financial information with convicted s3x offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2010.

In a statement issued later on Thursday, February 19, King Charles III addressed the development, saying the matter should be handled through the proper legal process. However, when appearing in public at a separate engagement, the King did not respond to questions from reporters about his brother’s arrest.

Andrew has long faced scrutiny over his association with Epstein, who was accused of s3xually abusing underage girls. His name appears in documents commonly referred to as the Epstein Files, which were released by the US Department of Justice after legislation mandated their publication.

Police have confirmed that Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He has previously denied wrongdoing in connection with his past associations.
