Decomposed Body Found in Kasarani, Nairobi
On the evening of May 28, police discovered the decomposed body of Mary Njoki, a 30-year-old woman, in her house in Kasarani, Nairobi.

Neighbors along Lumumba Drive had reported a foul smell from her house after not seeing her for up to four days.

The police, alerted by the neighbors, found the house locked from the inside with a padlock. Upon breaking in, they discovered Njoki’s half-naked and decomposed body on the bed.

Nairobi police boss Adamson Bungei noted that the cause of her death remains unknown and is pending autopsy and further procedures. Njoki lived alone and had minimal interaction with her neighbors.

Murder Investigation in Tetu, Nyeri
Meanwhile, in Tetu, Nyeri, police are investigating the murder of 68-year-old James Kibaara Maina. His body was found lying in a pool of blood next to his gate at Kirurumi trading center, with a deep cut on the left side of his head, seemingly inflicted by a sharp object.

The body has been moved to the mortuary for autopsy and further investigation.

Mob Justice Incident in Nkubu, Meru
In Nkubu, Meru, police reported finding the dismembered body of a suspected thief in a maize plantation.

The man, along with others, had attempted to steal a chuff cutter from a home in Giankama village on Monday night. An alarm raised by the residents alerted a mob that caught the suspect.

The mob dismembered the suspect, cutting his limbs, hands at the wrists, and legs at the ankles, leaving him to die. The body has been moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and further investigations.

Death Investigation in Uasin Gishu
In the Kondoo area of Uasin Gishu, police are probing the death of a 60-year-old man whose body was found in a flowing river in Koriomat village, Tarakwa location.

The body, which had no visible physical injuries, has been moved to the mortuary for autopsy and further investigation.
