Ugandan singer Juliana Kanyamozi is mourning the sudden and unexpected passing of her younger brother, Edward Freeman Kim.

The heartbreaking announcement was made by Juliana on her social media platforms.

Juliana says the family was left in shock and deep sorrow by the untimely demise of Prince Edward Freeman Kim, who breathed his last on the morning of November 1, 2023.

In her message, the grief-stricken singer shared the sad news:

“With deep sorrow, the family of the Late Prince Gerald Manyindo announces the untimely death of their Son, brother, Husband, and father Prince Edward Freeman Kim which occurred this morning 1/11/2023.”

Juliana Kanyamozi did not disclose any specific details regarding the circumstances of her brother’s death.

She did not mention whether he had been ill or if the passing was sudden.

She shared that the family has not yet finalized the burial arrangements but will inform well-wishers when the time comes.

Juliana conveyed that preparations for her brother’s burial are already underway, including plans for a vigil to honor and remember him.

Her mother, Catherine Manyindo, is married to Prince Gerald Philip Manyindo.

The parents’ relationship traces back to their friendship, which blossomed over time.

They tied the knot in 1975.
