Two of Kenya’s youngest university entrants have captured the hearts of netizens after joining Rongo University as part of the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) intake.
Akombe Rosy Moraa, 18, from Nyamira County, and Johnte Wesonga, 17, both drew widespread attention online, not only for their young age but also for their small physiques, which made their university admission all the more striking to many observers.

She expressed overwhelming support for the pair, offering encouragement as they begin this new chapter in their academic lives.
Johnte, who is set to study special needs, has been a particular talking point among netizens who have been sharing videos of him since his arrival on campus.
Moraa, meanwhile, was equally present during the visit to the dean’s office, and she was candid about who she is and what she loves.
“I am Moraa, I am 18-years-old from Nyamira county, I love playing table tennis,” she said during the encounter.

Since their arrival, Moraa and Johnte have become close companions, frequently appearing together in videos that are circulating widely on social media.
