President William Ruto attended the 5th Graduation ceremony at Garissa University and paid tribute to the victims of the 2015 al-Shabaab attack, where 148 students lost their lives and many others were injured.
This year marks the 9th anniversary of the tragic incident. Ruto was joined by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu, Defence counterpart Aden Duale, and other leaders for the solemn occasion.
