President William Ruto is set to carry out a series of activities today in Mombasa and Kilifi Counties.
His day will begin at the Mombasa Showground, where he will distribute funds to local fishing groups to enhance the region’s maritime industry. Following this, the President will visit several key development projects in Kilifi North and Malindi Constituencies:
– Watamu, Kilifi North Constituency: The President will engage with local stakeholders to discuss ongoing development projects.
– Baricho Water, Kilifi North Constituency: He will highlight improvements to water infrastructure.
– Kakuyuni Last Mile Electricity Connection Project, Malindi Constituency: The President will inspect the progress of this project aimed at enhancing electricity access.
– Bamba Last Mile Electricity Connectivity Project, Ganze Constituency: He will also review this initiative, which seeks to provide electricity to remote areas.
Meanwhile, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will attend the burial of Susan Kiiru Wanjohi, the mother of Secretary to the Cabinet Mercy Wanjau. The ceremony will take place in Nanyuki, Laikipia East Constituency, Laikipia County.
On Thursday, both leaders were in Tharaka Nithi County, where the President launched various development initiatives.
