Safaricom PLC has announced the closure of all its shops in Nairobi city on Friday, October 6, 2023.

In a communication on Wednesday, the company said only their outlets at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) will be opened on Friday.

“Normal services will resume on Saturday, 7th October 2023. For further assistance, ask Zuri, call customer care or visit your nearest Safaricom dealer,” it said in a statement.

The mobile service provider said the closure of its shops is to “enable us carry out some internal process.”

At the Safaricom outlets, customer care services, sim replacements, sim swap, bill payments, line registration, phones & accessories and data provision are among services offered.
