Samidoh has confirmed claims by Sue Gacambi that Karen Nyamu did not buy him booze worth Ksh420,000 on Father’s Day.
The Mugithi musician opened up about the Ksh420,000 alcohol while engaging his fans on social media.
“Waweru Uyu na Kajei Salim kumbe hizo maswali zenu mingi za kifala ni za captain morgan.
Because beer doesn’t ask silly questions buana😂😂😂 Ndi muthiga ukai muhuure,” Samidoh captioned a photo of himself holding a cup of beer.
A fan asked him if the alcohol he was holding was the one that cost Ksh420,000.
“Thamweri Hio ni ile ya 420k Bado iko kwa fridge,” Princess Priscah Wambui asked Samidoh.
In a quick rejoinder, Samidoh told Wambui that the Ksh420,000 liquor was just another fat lie meant for clout-chasing on social media.
The Muthigi singer further advised Wambui to take everything on social media with a pinch of salt.
“Princess Priscah Wambui hehe hizo ni vipindiree za social media usichukulie serious sana.naweza rogwa bure,” Samidoh commented.
She lied
Samidoh’s confirmation comes days after his US-based promoter Sue Gacambi also said that Karen Nyamu lied about buying the Ksh420,000 alcohol.
Nyamu and Gacambi were embroiled in a vicious catfight that played out on social media last week.
In a Facebook live session, Gacambi said that Karen Nyamu was only promoting the alcoholic brand while claiming that she had bought it as a gift for Samidoh.
“Hio pombe ya Ksh420,000 ni uongo ilikuwa advert. Nimedig hizi vitu, ilikuwa advert. Msituletee wana hapa. Mliona wakikunywa hio pombe? Si ati kununua alikuwa amenunua ilkuwa advert alikuwa anfanya advert,” she said.
Father’s Day
On Father’s Day June 18, 2023, Nyamu caused a stir when she claimed to have bought Samidoh alcohol worth nearly half a million bucks.
The UDA-nominated senator was seen in a video posted on social media arriving at a liquor store and requested for the most expensive alcoholic drink in the shop.
“The most expensive one,” she informed the store attendant.
The mother of three checked all displayed drinks and settled for a Louis XIII a brandy by Remy Martin. The liquor is valued at Ksh420,000.
She paid the amount using her credit card, sparking debate on social media.
