A senior land official from Kiambu County has been arrested following a raid on his Nairobi home by a contingent of detectives believed to be from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) on Thursday morning. Sources indicate that detectives also conducted a raid at a property in West Pokot County.

EACC Spokesperson Eric Ngumbi confirmed the arrest but declined to provide further details, stating, “The Commission is not in a position to respond to your inquiry at this stage.” The developments are part of ongoing investigations, although specific allegations or charges against the official have not yet been disclosed.
