Samuel Chukwueze says he will keep pushing hard to make more positive impact at Serie A club, AC Milan.

Chukwueze scored his first-ever league goal in AC Milan’s 3-1 win at Hellas Verona on Sunday.

The Nigeria international volleyed home from inside the box three minutes after replacing Noah Okafor.

The winger has struggled to hit the ground running since arriving Italy from Spanish club, Villarreal last summer.

Chukwueze conceded things have been tough for him in Italy but is determined to change the narrative.

“These first few months have not been easy, I continue to work hard. I trust the coach and his plans for me, I just have to stay focused and continue with the hard work,” he was quoted by DAZN.

The 24-year-old has featured in 17 league games for the Rooseneri.
