Simba Arati appointed ODM Deputy National Chairperson as party announces NEC changes

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party has made changes to its National Executive Committee (NEC).

In a statement issued on Friday, the Orange party announced Kisii Governor Simba Arati will now serve as the Deputy National Chairperson, taking over from former Kisii Woman Representative Janet Ong’era.

Busia Woman Representative Catherine Omanyo takes over from her predecessor Florence Mutua as Deputy Secretary General.

Saboti MP Caleb Amisi is the new Deputy Organising Secretary, taking the place of former Kwale woman representative Zulekha Hassan.

Kwale Woman Representative Fatuma Masito is the new Deputy National Treasurer. The position was previously occupied by former ODM Treasurer Ogla Karani.

Migori senator Eddie Oketch will be the NEC’s Secretary for Humanitarian and disaster Management Affairs. He replaces activist Bob Njagi.

Kakamega woman representative Elsie Muhanda takes over from former Shinyalu MP Justus Kizito as the Secretary for Security.
