President William Ruto held meetings with several leaders during the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Sunday, focusing on collaboration with their respective countries.

He remarked, “Kuwait has established itself as a valuable partner to Kenya in matters of development.”
Additionally, Ruto met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani to discuss opening a Kenyan Embassy in Iraq and deepening relations. He expressed Kenya’s commitment to securing markets for its tea, coffee, and beef in the Arab nation, stating, “Our broader focus is to secure market for our tea, coffee and beef.”
Ruto’s delegation included former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi. Further engagements with other leaders are expected throughout the event.
