State House Kenya has announced plans to publicly auction unserviceable motor vehicles and various vehicle accessories, including tires, car batteries, rims, and other assorted items.
According to a notice by the State House Comptroller, the auction will take place on June 14, 2024, starting at 10 am. The event will be held at the State Department for Roads in Ruiru.
“The prospective bidders are required to pay a refundable deposit of Sh 50,000 payable in the form of cash at the cash office, Executive Office of The President – State House in Nairobi during normal working hours,” the notice reads.
“Interested bidders may obtain further information by visiting www.tenders.go.ke and www.president.go.ke to download a catalogue containing details of the venue, items to be auctioned, conditions of sale and date of viewing.”
The Kenya Airports Authority in another notice also announced an auction of several items, including used furniture and Seats, scrap metals and used fire extinguisher cylinders.
The Authority is also auctioning general electro-mechanical parts, general building hardware materials and used motor vehicles.
The viewing dates will be from May 29 to May 31, 2024. The auction will be held between June 3rd to June 10, 2024.
“All the interested purchasers will be required to pay a deposit of Kshs. 25,000.00 per lot or item on auction.”
The auction locations include Kenya Airports Authority Headquarters, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Wilson Airport, Wajir Airport, Kisumu International Airport, Lokichoggio Airport, Kabunde Airstrip, Kakamega Airport, Moi International Airport, Malindi Airport, and Ukunda Airstrip.
