Kibera’s artist, Stivo Simple Boy, collapsed while being interviewed on Citizen TV’s popular show, 10 Over 10 on March, 15.

The incident, which unfolded in front of both live and online audiences, sparked concern and conversation across social media platforms.

During his appearance on the show, Stivo Simple Boy unexpectedly fainted on stage, leaving viewers stunned and worried about his well-being.

The incident occurred while Stivo was being interviewed by Azeezah Hashim, the host of 10 Over 10.

Midway through the conversation, Stivo began to struggle with his breath, prompting concern from both the host and the audience.

Despite attempts to continue, Stivo ultimately collapsed, leading to a brief interruption of the show as efforts were made to assist him.

The rapper has since addressed the incident through a brief statement.

In his statement, Stivo hinted at feeling stressed during the interview, attributing his collapse to the overwhelming pressure he faced.

“Meneja rudi tupige kazi nimeishiwa nguvu watu wasitukosanishe. Stress inanipiga mpka naanguka kwa stage niki perform. Mnatakuniharibia mpaka meneja,” Stivo expressed.

Stivo Simple Boy also took to his social media platforms to acknowledge the pressure he faces in the streets, hinting at the external factors that may have contributed to his distress during the interview.

Following the incident, Azeezah Hashim provided an update, reassuring fans that Stivo Simple Boy was in stable condition.

“Stivo, how are you doing… fans were a bit worried after they saw what happened?” Azeezah inquired, to which Stivo responded positively, indicating that he would share further details through his Instagram account.

“At the moment I’m doing good…and I will share more through my Instagram so that they can know what really happened.”

Azeezah further assured fans that Stivo would be welcomed back on the show once he has fully recovered.

The incident happened a few days after the rapper talked about the dissolution of his marriage, citing allegations of infidelity and betrayal.
